The homeworld of the extinct Etoshan species and now populated by Red Orions and Orions. Gothei is the smaller partner world in a trojan orbit with Botchok. Gothei is covered in everglade-style marshes, dense jungles, and standing water. It is a storm-whipped world, with a thick cloud cover, making the world an exceptionally muggy place. It is covered in the preindustrial ruins of the Etoshan species, with only a few densely packed lake-island cities populated by the Tilar Caju. The planet's stormy and unappealing climate drives most offworlders- including Klingon occupiers- to allow the Tilari Orions to proxy rule as long as they meet their imperial obligations. Their Klingon governors oversee from orbital stations.
