Ki Colony is an Earth Colony but its citizens stand apart from their Human cousins in the Federation. Isolationist, corporate-controlled, and with strong ideals of the old Eastern Coalition, the people of Ki are a sealed culture. Contact with the Federation and outlying aliens, while not overtly hostile, is strictly controlled and diplomatically limited.
Ki's powerful corporate founders, the Zhenzhu Corporation is a joint enterprise of Korean, Chinese, and Russian companies which fused into a corporate cooperative around the common Earth year of 2091.
