At a Glance

Izar is hard. As the most distant Earth Colony still loyal to the homeworld, Izar had long periods of little to no contact. For much of it's history, even today, Izar is "the rugged frontier," and the end of the line for the trade routes heading its way. Colonized primarily by German, Danish, Serbian, Lithuanian, and Russian ethnic groups at the outset, subsequent waves brought some curious philosophies along with them. This cold, rather desolate world has at once mastered notions of Hygge but also an obsession with austere, rigid self-perfection- two discordant philosophies that sit with an uneasy detente in the colony. Izar is not the homeworld of the Zenith group, but their members consider Izar to be their main forward operating base.

Terrain
