The gentle curmudgeons of the Berellian species are ponderous and sloth-like vegetarians who value music, art, philosophy and the humanities. Their thick fingers and large girths have famously created a stereotype that they make poor engineers. And, in truth, most Berellians see the engineering sciences as somewhat "soulless."
