END OF BRIEFING

At a Glance

The Barolian appearance is deceptive on several fronts. Early Federation traders who encountered Barolians on Rigel X and Galorndon Core thought they were androids or cyborgs. And despite their short stature and small builds, as a species, they are quite strong. The Barolians make no real effort to disguise their true appearances: their temperature and respiratory requirements force them to don special suits to endure Class M habitats. The Barolians are a biological race from a "Super-Earth" desert world somewhere along the Romulan's Spinward frontier. They are believed to be affiliates or treaty holders with the Empire, not vassals or indentured. The Barolians have been as unwilling as the Corvallens to disclose what they know (or may not know) about the enigmatic Romulan and Reman species.
