Proxima I- sometimes referred to as Proxima Prime or Bon Proxima by the natives- is the first planet in the Proxima Centauri star system. It was the first interstellar planet for Earth's governments to charter and colonize. It is also within the closest star system to the Sol System. It is often nicknamed the "Jade Jewel" by natives, noting its color from orbit.
